The centre has been pivotal to Juliana’s wellbeing journey, when she was struggling with her own mental health.
A social worker referred her to the centre and after a year of attending their courses, she proposed introducing an embroidery course as part of its wellbeing programme. The idea was enthusiastically embraced, providing people seeking support with another creative outlet.
Since then, the Centre for Better Health has become one of Lady Stitch Embroidery's strongest partners, and together we continue to use creativity to support mental wellbeing and strengthen the local community.
