The Women's Link Project is a charitable organisation dedicated to supporting women experiencing social isolation.
They invited Lady Stitch Embroidery to deliver an embroidery course at the Jean Stokes Community Centre.
The sessions were met with such enthusiasm from participants that they attracted the attention of a local newspaper, which featured both the course and the positive impact our work is having within the community.

“It was a lovely experience, I had some apprehension due to my anxiety and trauma but this was truly healing. It is exactly what I needed and I feel happier, more confident, it improved my mental health and my view of strangers and people in general.
The embroidery really was a joy to learn with such an enthusiastic, friendly and competent teacher, who truly cares to share her passion and take account of the students ability and any difficulties. One of the best educators I’ve met.”
